PAGE MAKER                                      

Adobe page maker 7.0:

This is the first desktop publishing program introduced in 1985 by Aldus corporation once upon a time it  its very strain to print a. by using computer software we can do the work very fastly. the software that was used in printer is desktop publisher. there are two types are software that were used in printer i.e. page maker, Photoshop.

page maker: this software will helps us extra page designing means typing the letters, designing the borders, making different types of documents. the work 

done  in this software, we can print them in one colour, two colour or three colour.

 to start page maker: click on start ----> programmes ----> adobe-----> adobe page maker. adobe page maker will be displayed. this is called page maker 

-->desktop. the desktop consists of page maker number, toolbox, control pallet.

menu bar: it consists of a menus . we do the applications using them.

toolbox: this toolbox consists of tools to design circle, box, line, start...etc.,


control pallet: the applications that are using for our work will be also choosed by control pallet.

page maker menu bar: in this menu bar, we will have file, edit, layout  , type, elements, utilities, view, window, help. every menu consists of sub menu with commands.


to select menu: keep the mouse pointer on many and click on it. sub menu will be displayed. select one and click on it. this sub menu will consist born commands, i.e. short cut keys. we can use the commands by menu or directly from short keys.

for  in file menu to select new command, click on cntr +n key.

to create a new document: click on file file menu is displayed . from file menu selected and click on new. the document
set-up dialogue box will be displayed. document set-up dialogue box consists of several settings. enter all settings and then click on OK

automatically a new document called untitled 1 will be displayed with the setting on the screen.
