Cropping tool:

 It is used to delete or cut the unnecessary part of the graphic.

line tool: we can draw the lines in any angle.

rule tool: we can draw the lines in 45 only. i.e 90 straight, wide, sides 45.

box tool: we can draw the rectangular and square boxes.

ellipse tool: we can draw the circle shapes in different ways.

polygon tool: we can create the box with the no of sides we required . we can select from 3 to 200 only.


if we want star setting with the sides, select  the star insert option in polygon setting dialogue box.

zoom tool: with this tool we can increased the  part of document and it in increased shape

hand tool: we can see the some part of document that we want.

to open a document: click on file sub menu is displayed. select and click on open open publication dialogue box is displayed. to open a file in the dialogue box. we have to know whether it is page maker file or another software file.

click on of look in from the menu select the drive name of file destination and click on it.

the folders in that drive will be displayed. select the folder and click on it.
the folder will display the files names selected.keep the mouse point on the file and divide click on it.


recent publications; while working in page maker, we will open so many  files and after completion of work we will close them. using this recent publications we can display up-to 8 titles.by clicking the file name directly we can open the new file.


close: to close file: 
close: it is used to close the created file. we will used the close button to close the file after completion of out work.

as soon as we use this command , a message dialogue box will be displayed. click on yes option to we want to save the file in hard disk with the latest changes that was made. 
click on no if we don't want to add the changes to the file. click on cancel when we do not want to take the changes, automatically the file will be closed.


to save file:when we design a file it will be displayed on the screen. if we want that file in future, we will save the file by in hard disk using the save command.
click on file file menu is displayed in file menu click on save save publication: untitled dialog box will be displayed. select the folder by clicking the  down arrow of save in : box and click on it.
type the file name in file name :
click  on save.

the save publication dialogue box only displayed for first time work.
